Single or Multi-store Systems
The Retail STAR product was designed from the ground up as a multi-store solution. A communication module that manages data exchange is built into the software. Also, all modules (i.e., Purchasing, Transfers, etc.) and reporting are built with multiple locations as defaults. These unique features make it the system of choice for any store with multiple locations.

Each item can have up to four (4) lines of information attached. These can be used for serving suggestions, a brief explanation on the wine’s characteristics, its Wine Spectator rating, etc. These comments can be viewed automatically by the clerk at point of sale or printed on the receipt.

The system supports more than one UPC attached per item. It can also pull up multiple items with the same UPC.
MULTIPLE SORT FIELDS
With the Retail STAR system, you have many ways to sort your inventory: by vendor, region, bottle size, winery, variety, distributor, etc.
WINE SPECTATOR RATING
The system lets you store the Wine Spectator rating, which again can be pulled up at point of sale or printed on the receipt or pricing labels.
PURCHASING
The Retail STAR system gives you the ability to create automatic or manual orders, either by the case or each. You can also create special orders from point of sale quickly and easily.
