Retail STAR provides Art, Craft, and Hobby stores with a unique retail solution tailored to the industry. Many supplier product catalogs are easily importable with the use of the STAR XML feature. This saves retailers the time required to enter in new and changing products manually. For larger distributors, Retail STAR also offers an EDI module and acts as the “glue” between the retailer and distributor when placing and receiving orders electronically. The EDI offerings allows retailers to place purchase orders electronically, create a new inventory database, produce barcode tickets, and receive the goods all without having to duplicate data entry.
For hobby shops, Retail STAR offers an extensive CRM (Customer Relationship Module) module with built in work order management. This can be used to track services offered to customers such as R/C mechanic services, maintenance, etc. Our CRM module also interfaces with our own unique Special Order system to help you better service your customers. With our Special Order feature, you can place a special order for a customer, have it automatically generate a Purchase Order for your Buyer, and alert you and the customer when it is received.
