Our Point of Sale software has specific features for Gift and Museum retailers such as interfaces to industry suppliers, integration with Raiser’s Edge fund raising software, built-in support for gift cards, and an extensive CRM (customer relationship module) that helps you market to your customers more efficiently. The software was built to work the way Gift and Museum retailers do.
Museum/Gift Industry Features:
• Industry specific supplier databases – Retail STAR contains a data bridge tool that makes it easy to import vendor catalogs into the system. This saves you the time and hassle of entering product information yourself.
• Raiser’s Edge Interface – Retail STAR is certified as a partner with Raiser’s Edge software. This module offers museums a seamless membership management system between their accounting software and point-of-sale system.
• Gift Card and Loyalty modules – Point reward marketing programs are supported within the system. As pre-determined buying thresholds are met, serialized and barcoded store credit vouchers are generated within the software. Gift cards are also fully supported in the software and allow you to place funds onto a card and deplete funds from an issued gift card.
• Gift Registry – An entire gift registry system is built into Retail STAR to help you sell more. The gift registry can be purchased from using a kiosk in your store location or over our integrated eCommerce module (i.e. iSTAR).
