todolist.jpgWhat sets most specialty retailers apart from their larger competitors is the level of service they provide to their customers. With this in mind, we built a complete Job Tracking/Work Order management system into our software. Job Tracker is part of the point-of-sale and CRM modules.

Right from the cash register you can:

  • Create a special order for a customer and assign it to a buyer. When the order comes in, you can alert the customer via email.
  • Create a new work order to perform a service for a customer. An example could be a bike shop who is servicing a bicycle for a customer. They could create the work order at the point-of-sale detailing the specifics of the job, schedule a mechanic for the job, track the location of the bike, and provide the customer with an estimate of the job. The mechanics could then pull of a list of their daily work item assignments, open the job, add needed products to the original ticket, complete the job and then notify the customer that the bike was ready via email or phone. When the customer returns to pick up their bike, the complete work order history, receipt and location are all generated from the point-of-sale.
  • Use job tracker to schedule labor and estimate work force requirements.
