STAR Sales Audit
The Sales Audit Report is not just another "flash report" built into the Retail STAR software suite, it is also a comprehensive auditing tool.
This auditing tool allows you to have instant access to every receipt ever produced in your store. Rather than taking up valuable real estate
storing your paper receipts, you can now rely upon the Sales Audit report to produce listings of receipts by any search criteria you choose.
Receipts can be retrieved over specific date ranges, for certain employees, specific transaction types, forms of payment, customers, or
inventory products. You can also look up receipts by any one of these or a combination.
As an example, if you suspect employee theft, you can run the Sales Audit report for a specific employee and specify to see only voided
receipts. If you suspect you have a customer who is abusing your store return policy, you can quickly look at all of the receipts for a
particular customer and specify the report to list only the returned merchandise for that customer.
The Sales Audit report will allow you to reduce expensive real estate costs associated with storing your paper receipts. It will further
